never eat shredded wheat

Just a few news items today.

Firstly, I noticed that the FDA says that PBA is ok. Wow, all that fuss and I finally managed to get my hands on a PBA-free water bottle, just in time for it not to matter. At least I didn't throw out all my pretty pink Nalgene bottles.

Secondly, I have got to recommend this chocolate chip cookie recipe that was posted in the New York Times. I just tried it out, and I almost died (in a good way) after eating two cookies. Also read the related article if you want to know more about what makes cookies 'perfect'. note* you have to register to view the recipe, but if want to try my account, go ahead:

Thirdly, I love you. I love you all, very much.

Nutter Butter:

Ok, so I made the cookies this weekend for me, Willma, and Dylan, and we all were in ecstasy (in a good way). However, Whole Foods did not have 'cake flour' or 'bread flour', so I had to substitue 'pastry flour' and 'all-purpose flour' respectively; but they came out great! Thank you, sweetie. xoxox

I should have mention this as well. I calso couldn't find the special flour. I substituted with all-purpose flour, used dark brown sugar instead of light brown, and I ran out of chocolate disks so supplemented with 4oz of choc chips. I know, its like a whole different recipe now! still, a damn good cookie, glad you tried them.
